Design Process and Challenges
Creating AgTrakk was an exhilarating journey marked by unique design challenges
- User-Centered Design: We began with a deep dive into the needs of farmers, understanding the intricacies of their operations, and developed a user interface that simplifies farm management. I, as the lead designer, conducted extensive research into the needs of farmers, understanding the intricacies of their operations. Using Figma, I crafted a user interface that simplifies farm management and enhances the user experience.
- Data Integration:AgTrakk’s success hinged on seamlessly integrating agricultural data, ensuring it’s up-to-date and reliable for both farmers and consumers. I oversaw the design process to ensure data presentation was intuitive and user-friendly.
- AB Testing and Optimization: Throughout development, I conducted rigorous AB testing to fine-tune AgTrakk’s features and interfaces, optimizing it for the best user experience possible.
- Cross-Platform Accessibility: Recognizing the diverse user base, I led the design efforts to make AgTrakk accessible across devices, enabling easy access whether users were on a farm, in a market, or at home.
